Bi-weekly brunches and social events for women at different stages of womanhood. We offer a culturally-inclusive space for mothers and non-mothers to learn about critical issues related to black maternity, postpartum depression, maternal health issues, financial literacy and other crises affecting BIPOC women.

Teen Awareness Program (TAP)

MAAC Safe Space

Offers a confidential environment for BIPOC women to share experiences of domestic violence and sexual assault. Through one-on-one consultations and educational resources, we empower survivors to develop the tools for recovery and healing.

Diaper Drive

During COVID, MAAC started a monthly diaper and wipes drive to support vulnerable families during a difficult time. This initiative has brought tremendous relief to our community and we have been able to support over 170 families every month. The program is currently full, join our waiting list here

Community Feedbacks

“It’s a space of trust, love and understanding. It’s a space where you have the trust with those around you to understand and appreciate the sorrow behind your smile.. To make sense of the love behind your anger. And last but least, the meaning behind your silence. Where you can lean on each other and give each other strength you all mightily need. ”

Hamza

“I love how all of the sessions are based off of our input as participants. MAAC takes our needs and requests seriously and that's something I appreciate. I also think that this peace circle has been super important in filling a void that was greatly needed during the pandemic. I want to ask that regardless of who shows up or who participates in the sessions, to continue doing them. I also want to encourage MAAC to continue doing more programs for the community insha allah! Great job guys!.”
